I have a penchant for Mixing Prints; But, I also find it a little tricky, especially when it comes to mixing prints in different colours.
Some tricks that help me with mixing same-colour prints are:
- Keeping a basic and limited colour palette when mixing very different prints.
- Keeping one major print and the rest minor (for instance; in the outfit above; the skirt is the major print; while the easy print of the racer back qualifies as a minor print).
- Usually, smaller prints make one look slimmer and large prints can make one look a little bigger, depending on your body type, you can use that to your advantage.
I think tips for mixing coloured prints can wait for another day and another post :)
